The NRL salary cap is an absolute joke,i can safely say that there would not be a club that has won the title that hasn't breached the salary cap,it's impossible to acquire a team for $7.1 million and win the Grand Final in 2017 : The third party payment system has basically made the salary cap redundant : The 2017 cap is$7.1 mil,most clubs would have spent around $9 million and more,it's a joke.
