And so it continues the, debt ceiling Tango, how do the media get so much mileage out of something that in the past was almost a yearly chore, sort of an agenda item that was always in the yea side of the column for the days voting and house keeping, Make no mistake this is part of the Hills house keeping chores and the Republicans as usual have put party ideaology before country.
The Thinking Republicans want to raise the debt ceiling, House Speaker Boehner and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell understand that the debt ceiling must be raised as it has been for Decades, unfortunately the GOP has been hi-jacked by the extreme right through it's flag ship Brand ":the Tea Party"
The Tea party Republicans are influencing policy and the true Republicans are scared to challenge as they do not risk having a Tea Party candidate running in their district or seat against them splitting the vote and handing the seat to the Democrat. And that is why we are at this juncture in our political discourse.
Make no mistake the debt ceiling will be raised once both parties find a solution that will appease the extremist on both sides of the aisle.
What this whole charade about the debt ceiling shows us is that irrespective of what the situation or topic is ,how dangeruous the circumstances may be, how dire the repercussions appear, the egomanical character of our politicians will always come to the fore. When a politicians survival instincts kick in there is no barrier that cannot be broached , no rule that can't be bent and no issue that cannot be utilized to one's advantage.
The "debt ceiling" is something that would be referred in the halls of power as a gimme, you know something that will be talked about but eventually "eat your peas and raise it.We have no choice.Hold on, a Presidential candidade says she will not vote for the raising of the debt ceiling, enter the submissive and husband advised Michelle Bachmann, she want's to unseat the President so badly that she is prepared to let America default so that going into the 2012 election the economy will be so toxic that Obama will be a one term President.
Mitch Mconnell the house minority leader stated back in 2009 that his goal in life is to see that Obama does not succeed in the stewardship of America and thus be voted out of the Oval office in 2012.
These same people will appear on talk shows telling the world how patriotic they are at the same time wanting the President to fail which means America will fail, and they don't give a hoot.
They are only interested in being re -elected so that they can enjoy the lerks and perks that comes with being a member of congress , long lunches with lobbyist from every industry from all parts of the country , seats at the best sporting events , personal use of corporate jets loaned to them by wealthy benefactors to do their bidding, there is nothing that these guys on the hill will not take advantage of, and all they have to do is play the game, until the Tea Party caucas through a spanner in the works.
If you have been paying attention both Republican leaders Boehner and McConnell have on many occasions stated publicly that the debt ceiling must be raised, so Whats the problem guys?????
The problem is that they have lost control of their caucus, the Tea party now controls the House and the Senate, a bunch of freshman politicians who are in control of the largest economy in the world and and are clueless about what is good politics and what is stupidity , for most they are punching above their weight to quote a boxing metaphor.
The President has several options on the table 1. he can accept in part McConnells white flag surrender offer of seeding all responsibility to the President.Hey Mitch just when your country needed you to lead you blinked and kicked the can towards the President and by that single action showed the American people that you need a spine Mitch a backbone buddy, where are you Mitch your country needs you to stand up, walk to the plate and bat up , not meekly surrender with out a fight.Earn your salary Mitch.
Speaker Boehner has a slightly more complicated problem, he has to deal with the Tea Party caucas within his party that is quite substantial and such are their numbers that without their support he cannot get anything passed through the house.Add to that problem Eric Cantor's ambitions to replace him as speaker backed by the Tea Party Caucus and you have a bad "reality show from the hill.".
THe Republican are privately worried that 2012 is an election that they can win, but at this stage no one but Mitt Romney looks capable of winning the primary and taking on the best presidential campaigner and political salesman President Barack Obama, but Romney is not the Tea Party's preferred candidate in fact they have promised to campaign against him through the primaries,so you can see the GoP's dilemma.
Bachmann is a niche candidate, she 's great preaching to the converted just as Sarah "will i run or will i just keep making money" Palin , but once out in the main stream and away from the (treat them with kid gloves coziness) of Fox News and the cracks will appear as already has happened to Ms Bachmann , and as for her Spouse Marcus , he reminds me of Boris Yeltzin on uppers.
The republican thinks tanks are at a loss to find a candidate that their money people can agree on,Romney is their pick but they fear alienating the Tea Party, Bachmann is unelectable and Palin is making to much money to have to go through the embarrassment of more "gotcha questions"like Q.where do you live Sarah Ans. now that is a gotcha question.!!!
The debt ceiling is not a problem it will get raised but only after every minute of posturing can be garnished then they will vote to raise it because the whole charade is for the 2012 Elections.
Today News from around the world written in plain English. You won't read this in the Main stream Media What the Globalist don't want you to know. The Ruling Elites plan for us all, global slavery.
