Murdoch - The Darth Varder

As i watch the events unfold in the English Tabloids about the Darth Varder of  the Media Moguls i must confess a twinge of satisfaction, could it finally come to pass that this Media innovator and immoral newspaper owner will finally get his just rewards, one can only hope, but i am cautious and hesitant to pop the champagne corks just yet,as i have watched this right wing idealogue get out of tough binds before, remenber this guy argued in the supreme court that news didn't have to be true to be news and won!!!
I have been reading his newspapers for over forty years and would some times get the urge to burn the wretched thing only to stop as i had not read the funny section yet.
Rupert Murdoch was not about news or ethics or accuracy he was only about business,he after all was in the business of selling  newspapers and keeping the share holders happy,as long as he achieved that, they pretty much left it all up to Rupert, and Rupert had no moral compass just the bottom line.
Now we find that the share holders are up in arms about Rupert (Darth Varder)Murdochs behaviour, their shocked and suprised at the conduct of the management at the top, well how long did it take you guys to work it out,i mean his only being doing it for nearly 50 years.
One could take it the wrong way, that it is because the fear that News ltd shares might start to head south or worse still that the empire might just collapse or be broken up that has lead the share holders to speak out about the conduct of the high fliers in their private jets.
This is news,Rupert has considered himself a kingmaker for decades now going back to the election of Mr Gough Whitlam in 1972 , it was primarily Rupert with the help of the CIA that led to the ousting of the Labor leader in 1975,if you did't agree with his ideology you were a constant target of his tabloids.
Rupert Murdoch believes that the rich should really have the only say as they pay the most taxes and the poor can please them selves,Rupert cam be called many things but not a humanitarian.
Rupert Murdoch's gift was his ability to read the people's ability to absorb news and current affairs, he could some how understand what they required to digest daily and also the shortening of their time span that people had acquired made him the innovator that he was.But he cared litlle about the newspaper business,he was in the bottom line business and if it didn't owrk it had to go or be closed.
Murdoch turned losing papers into page 6 tabloids and gossip rag money makers, and as for the truth and integrity that was not a priority, sales and advertising revenue was what it was about for News Ltd.
His share holders loved him,it seemed he could do know wrong , you either hated him or you revered him you could never love him he was an abomination as a human being , for most of us  ( i'm sure his wived loved him)
The reason i am so cautious is because Ruperts most valued asset in an employee was loyalty, he made it quite clear that he demanded loyalty and in return he would watch your back as one would say and so over the years when it seemed that Rupert was going down every body would circle the wagons and Rupert would be vindicated and go an acquire another news outlet.
His flagship "FOX News cable network is the propaganda arm of his right wing ldealogy ,his flag bearer for his warped political thinking, a Neocon before neocons arrived on the scene,Rupert was a neo-conservative in the 1970 long before Rumsfeld and Pearl came along and embraced Rupert's complete contempt of the "underclass" as he refer's to the average working man.
Will  anybody weep for this mans demise , i doubt it, execpt for the Republican party , maybe Sarah Palin who only gives interviews on Fox or maybe Michelle Bachmann who i would say is to the right of Murdoch himself. For all his successes and innovations Murdoch failed in the ultimate test of one's life, the test of the humaity in a person and for that Rupert would get an "F"
So let 's just hope that some one will step up and let it all hang out and perhaps we can see the end of Ruperts nepotism and the end of the Murdoch Empire as we know it today , and maybe we can get some real newspapers again .One can only hope

.
